MP3 Repair Tool

MP3 Repair Tool can rescue your unplayable mp3 files. By deleting the first bytes of an mp3 file, broken and corrupted headers get cleaned including badly written ID3v2 tags. With this technique, most of the "broken" mp3 files can be played again.
Important note: MP3 Repair Tool deletes the beginning and/or end of MP3 files. You can not undo this action.

The name of the program says it all: With Winamp Playlist Creator you can create playlists for Winamp easily and quickly. The tool isn't a plug-in for Winamp but a stand-alone application. Taginator

Taginator is a program that allows you to batch write MP3 Tags for multiple MP3 files at once. Assuming that all your files are named in a standard format, you give Taginator a format template and it extracts the needed information from the file name. For example, if all your files have the name format "Artist - Title.mp3" then you can give Taginator the file name template "%Artist% - %Title%". It will then extract the correct information and write the MP3 tag for the file.

ID3KILL for Windows

This freeware tool removes and lists ID3v1 & ID3v2 tags from MP3 files. ID3 is a general tagging format for audio, which makes it possible to store meta data (album, year, genre, ...) about the song inside the audio file itself. This program is useful if you encounter incorrect tags in your MP3 files or if you wish to upgrade the tags in your files. ID3KILL has the option of only removing ID3v1 or ID3v2 tags should you wish to preserve one of the two, and can recursively search within subdirectories if you want total annihilation. ID3KILL can even modify files marked 'read-only', provided the storage medium allows it. Simple, easy, removes ID3 tags within a few clicks!
