Trim your CD grabbings or directly to MP3 recorded vinyls or tapes. Cut favorite songs from long MP3 radio or live recordings. Make multiple cuts and fades. mp3DirectCut is very fast and gives you extensive control over your MP3s.

OneClickPlay

This fast and tiny utility scans, creates and launches a randomized playlist (OneClickPlay.m3u) of all MP3, WMA and MID files found in the folder it was installed (copied) in and all subfolders. You can scan for any audio files by using switches. This will create a OneClickPlay.ini file. Once this file is created you don't have to use switches again. Should you want to make changes again, just use the switches or edit OneClickPlay.ini. All music files in the generated playlist will be played by the player (Winamp etc.) associated with M3U playlists. OneClickPlay is especially suitable for users whose music folder's content changes often.

MP3 Hint

MP3 Hint is an InfoTip Shell Extension. After installation, hovering the mouse cursor above any MP3 file icon will display a hint which will contain informations extracted from the TAG of this MP3 file. You'll see title, artist, album, year, comment, genre and track number. Also this hint will contain two additional handy informations extracted from the MP3 file: song's bitrate and duration. This extention can be very useful when you have a lots of files with meaningless names as e.g. Track23.mp3. With help of MP3 Hint you will fast recognize any MP3 file, without necessity of loading this file into a MP3 player. I'm sure you will appreciate advantages of this extension when you will be renaming your music files, copying choosen compositions for someone, or browsing someone's music collection in the local network - you don't need to download whole file anymore to see what song it is, just hover your mouse cursor over its icon. Plus, it's totaly free even for comercial purposes.

Mp3Extractor

Mp3Extractor is a tool for copying several portions from an MP3 audio file into new (numbered and tagged) MP3 files. Listen to your material (e.g. recorded radio shows, live performances, DJ sets) through Nullsoft Winamp and with the help of Mp3Extractor, find the portions, parts or tracks of interest, drop markers at the desired start and stop times of these takes and optionally add track information. Mp3Extractor includes many features for navigating swiftly through even lengthy input files, checking and fine tuning marker positions. When you're done, Mp3Extractor will copy the corresponding MP3 frames to new MP3 files properly name and tag these output files and optionally write track information to a database list. Whereas a cutter will in most cases merely trim a file, and a splitter will just cut it into pieces, the Mp3Extractor will give you exactly the parts of the file that you want - and only these.
Does NOT work with: Winamp 3 (forget about it, and use Winamp 5 instead).

MP3Gain

Tired of reaching for your volume knob every time your mp3 player changes to a new song? MP3Gain analyzes and adjusts mp3 files so that they have the same volume. MP3Gain does not just do peak normalization, as many normalizers do. Instead, it does some statistical analysis to determine how loud the file actually sounds to the human ear.
