DTM ODBC Manager

DTM ODBC Manager is a free simple and easy-to-use ODBC Data Sources manager. It allows you to export data source definitions into a file and then restore it on a local or remote system. ODBC Manager is an indispensable tool for DBAs or developers who have to transfer data source definitions between computers and is a perfect addition to the system ODBC Administrator. The program allows you to audit local and remote data source definitions, remove DSNs and import definitions created on one of the computers on a remote system right from your workplace. To do it, "Remote Registry Service" must be running on the system you work with and it must have all necessary drivers installed. The program works both with system DSNs and with user DSNs. DTM ODBC Manager allows you to operate not only with a single DSN, but also to export or import all existing items or those selected in the list.

TXT2CSV Converter

Conversion program to change a plain text file to a CSV (Comma Separated Value) file. CSV files are often used to exchange data between different programs, Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet program also use them. To converts the plain text file (.txt) it must contain some control character (CRLF, TAB, ESC...) for data field delimitation. The text file may also contain some control character for line delimiter. If no line delimiter are present in the file, the conversion can be done by specify the number of field per line. During the conversion, it is possible to remove columns and/or lines by specify the number or by using filter value. If the resulting CSV file is not compatible with your program, you can try to fix the problem by changing the line delimiter and/or forcing the field separation with double quote.

ODBC Viewer

The program connects to an ODBC connection for viewing data, editing data, displaying field information, exporting the data in a table and importing the data that was exported. First step is to correlate an ODBC structure with an Alias. Create a new alias, select the Database Drive Name, enter a name of the Alias in place of the default name and select the path to the ODBC database.

DBComp

DBComp is a database comparison and merge application. The program performs two basic tasks:
1) The Compare Data Sources function compares two OBDC data sources for alike vs. different records and generate a Difference File that lists the records that either do not match or have been added/deleted from one data source compared to the other.
2) The Merge function examines a Difference File generated by DBComp and updates the specified data source via SQL statements. You can view the SQL statements in advance and remove one (or more) in advance if you wish.
DBComp can be used to update remote data sources when it is impractical or inefficient to distribute an entire copy of the database to the remote location. The program can also be used to examine a data source against an archived (older) copy for the purposes of debugging or historical examination.
