IcoFX Icon Editor

IcoFX is an icon editor. It is an all-in-one solution for icon creation, extraction and editing. IcoFX is designed to work with Windows XP and Windows Vista icons supporting transparency.
With a wealth of tools and more than 40 effects at your fingertips, there’s virtually no limit to the icons you can create. You can convert your favorite images into icons, or icons into images. Also, you can extract icons from other files, including Windows Vista files. In addition, you can easily work with multiple files using the batch processing capability of IcoFX.
There is multiple language support (Available translations: Catalan, English, German, Hungarian, Japanese, Romanian and Spanish).

IconsExtract - EXE/DLL/OCX/CPL icon grabber/extrac

The IconsExtract utility scans the files and folders on your computer, and extract the icons and cursors stored in EXE, DLL, OCX, CPL, and in other file types. You can save the extracted icons to ICO files (or CUR files for cursors), or copy the image of a single icon into the clipboard. IconsExtract can only extract icons from 32-bit executable files. It cannot extract icons from 16-bit files. This utility is a standalone executable, and it doesn't require any installation process or additional DLLs. Just run the executable (iconsext.exe) and start using it.

IconView

View icon files in a set of pages on screen, nothing else. Easy icon viewer. Select directory and view icons in pages of 4x5 icons. You can rename and delete icons. If you want to use an icon in your program, you press the clipboard button and the full icon path is ready to insert in another program.
